Outdoor Learning

HighScope's educational approach emphasizes "active participatory learning". Active learning means students have direct, hands-on experiences with people, objects, events, and ideas. Children's interests and choices are at the heart of the HighScope program. Children construct their own knowledge through interactions with the world and the people around them. Children take their first steps in the learning process by making choices and following through on their plans and decisions. In active learning settings, adults expand children's thinking with diverse material and nurturing interactions. Teachers, caregivers, and parents offer physical, emotional, and intellectual support.

Monthly Fees:

12 - 30 Months Fees:

-Drop-In: $70 per day

-Tue/Thu: $575 per month

-Mon/Wed/Fri: $790 per month

-Mon-Fri: $1,150 per month

30 - 36 Months Fees:

-Drop-In: $55 per day

-Tue/Thu: $380 per month

-Mon/Wed/Fri: $545 per month

-Mon-Fri: $830 per month

3 - 5 Years Fees:

-Drop-In: $45 per day

-Tue/Thu: $360 per month

-Mon/Wed/Fri: $515 per month

-Mon-Fri: $780 per month

-Children ages 5 to 8 years old (Kindergarten to grade 3)

-We serve Moody and Porter Elementary Schools

-Adult to child ratio (1 to 6)

-Variety of planned indoor and outdoor activities

-Conversational French available upon request

-Field trips and a variety of outdoor activities on pro D days.

-Before Only: $170 per month

-After Only: $220 per month

-Before & After: $300 per month

Full-Time Fees (5 days per week):

-Before Only: $240 per month

-After Only: $310 per month
