Chinese Presbyterian Church Preschool

The Preschool is a bilingual learning centre operated by the Chinese Presbyterian Church.  Our goal is to provide a traditional education in a Christian setting.  We offer a balanced structured and unstructured environment which help develop a child’s well being in areas of physical, emotional, intellectual and creativity. The CPC Preschool provides a well balanced bilingual program in a traditional school setting. Under the caring, loving, supportive guidance of a qualified teaching staff, the students are given the opportunity to socialize and grow in a cooperative learning environment.

At the CPC Preschool, we believe that the fundamentals of Christian faith are an important part of a child’s moral and spiritual upbringing. The children are taught biblical principles through Bible stories, and scripture passages. Regular Sunday School attendance is encouraged. The CPC Sunday School program welcomes any preschool children and their family members to attend and participate in weekly programs.

There are 6 highly committed, caring, dedicated, and experienced Christian teachers. All teachers have ECE certification, and many have University degrees and other training relevant to education. All the teachers  have certified first aid training. The teachers attend professional workshops to maintain and enrich their knowledge in the field of early childhood education. The Presbyterian Church of Canada has also established a policy (leading with care) to ensure a climate of safety for children, youth and vulnerable adults.  Teachers must abide by these polices as stated the Leading with Care document.  Therefore all teachers are submitted to a criminal records check.
