First Steps Daycare

irst Steps Daycare was established in 2005.  We have been providing excellent care and service for families in Coquitlam and Tricities. Our aim is to provide children with a warm, safe and nurturing environment which will stimulate optimal social and emotional growth as well as their physical and intellectual skills.

We believe that parents and caregivers share the responsibility of enabling children to discover their first steps.  We open the doors for new experiences which they will discover with self- confidence, self- control, self- esteem and respect for other people and their property. We also believe that children will only achieve these when they are secure in the co-operative and co-supportive care of both parents and caregivers. We thrive to achieve a special partnership for the children’s benefit.

The daycare is based on the philosophy that all children are equal while each of them is an individual.  We will encourage children to learn and develop at their own level, at which they will gain the confidence in their self-importance.

By giving them guidance and understanding, they will have the opportunity to explore their world in a safe and controlled environment.
