Les Petits Artistes Montessori Centre
Les Petits Artistes Montessori Centre is a bilingual English-French licensed Montessori daycare. Our Centre opened on September 1st, 2010 with a capacity of 20 children. In 2014, we added a facility and have grown to a total of 43 full time spaces. We take children from 3 to 5 year-old only.
The goal of Les Petits Artistes Montessori Centre is to ensure that your child thrives in his or her early childhood years. We value the special and unique nature of each child in our care. We endeavour to provide and maintain a childcare environment that is inclusive, warm, safe, and developmentally appropriate. We recognize that the needs of the child come first. As a result, our facility is designed to offer the necessary stimulation to educate the whole child and to encourage exploration while offering a space that is peaceful enough for your child to quietly focus on his or her work.

Our children work in mixed age groups, which allows them to work at their own pace and to learn from each other. They are not assigned to preschool grades; rather they are in the classroom for years 1, 2 and 3, allowing your child to be in year 2, but perhaps learning kindergarten material in any given subject matter. As your child repeats certain lessons and tasks, a deeper understanding of the subject matter will develop. By working with other children, your child will experience being a teacher while being a guide to younger incoming children. This partnering with another child, if successful, will allow your child to feel successful in his or her work.
Besides the Montessori program, we have an array of other programs that fit the needs of the children and offer them different learning opportunities: French, Art & Crafts, Field Trips, Yoga, Gym, Music & Movement.
