Little Friends Learning Centres support and encourage positive relationships among children, parents and staff. The centres provide a compliment to parental care within a warm and caring learning environment that both nurtures the individual child and supports families’ needs. Our programs are rich in discovery, fun and learning activities that are designed to help the child’s self esteem and sense of self worth. Children are introduced to activities and opportunities that support their emotional, social, creative, cognitive and physical growth.
The children participate in a curriculum in an environment that fosters active learning, autonomy, freedom, a sense of responsibility and order. The staff strive to stimulate each child’s natural curiosity and encourages personal expression through real experience and play. The centres have a commitment to foster the values of co-operation, kindness, empathy, respect and responsibility.
In order to achieve these objectives, a daily schedule of activities has been developed which includes both active and quiet play and structured learning, indoors and outdoors. Each program is developed to help build a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning.
We believe play and learning, in a safe and caring environment, is essential to the development of happy, healthy and helpful children. We are committed to working as a team with parents and teachers to guide and nurture children through their years in care. We encourage your support and care.
