Montessori and More Learning Centre

Our program follows the educational approach developed by Maria Montessori and includes other elements of Early Childhood Education. For over one hundred years, the Montessori method has been proven successful amongst diverse cultures around the world. Dr. Montessori’s approach was developed based on scientific observations of individuals from birth to adulthood. It includes the whole child – physical, social, emotional, and cognitive. The Montessori approach is as much about a child’s emotional well-being as it is about his or her cognitive development.

Our program also includes elements of Early Childhood Education such as learning through play with many hands-on activities which allows every child to learn, grow, and thrive in an environment that meets her or his needs. Montessori materials, as well as other Early Childhood Educational materials, are present in our learning environment.

Each child in our care is seen as an individual. We esteem every child’s distinctive characteristics and traits and desire to foster the growth of our children so that they can reach their ultimate potential.
