Mosaic Montessori follows in the tradition of it's founding school, Ivy Montessori, in offering high quality Early Childhood Education in Vancouver.
We combine current and traditional teaching methods in order to provide a program that respects Montessori foundations while bringing the most up to date information about children's learning styles and needs into the classroom.
With staff trained in varied backgrounds including Montessori, Early Childhood, Special Needs, Music, and Child Development, we offer a dynamic and enriched program that surpasses what many traditional Montessori preschools can.
Our facility, located in a heritage schoolhouse on the grounds of General Gordon Elementary School, provides a warm, bright and safe space for children to learn and play in.

Our programs combine traditional Montessori activities, in the 4 key areas of Language, Mathematics, Sensorial (shapes, colours, tactile learning), and Practical Life (fine motor skill development), with additional activities that are beneficial for children. Our play based activities such as sand and water play, building blocks, and dramatic play provide children with unlimited opportunities to develop language, social skills, and independence. Added activities in areas such as Science Exploration, and World Geography are added to the curriculum to enrich our program and provide dynamic learning opportunities.
