Oakridge Montessori Children's Learning Centre

Oakridge Montessori Children’s Learning Centre is designed for children from toddler through kindergarten school age. Our passion is working with children in a nurtured environment that provides a vibrant, enriching and unique learning experience that develops in them a life-long love of learning.

Our Montessori certified teachers are specially trained in using Dr. Montessori’s methods and materials to successfully guide each child in developing unique abilities within a carefully planned curriculum.

Supported by guidance from our teachers, our students work both independently and in small groups with other children. By providing an environment that specifically addresses each child’s individual needs, our students enjoy an educational experience that enhances self-esteem and an ever-increasing curiosity about the world in which they live.

At Oakridge Montessori Children’s Learning Centre we have the unique opportunity to provide young children with hands-on experience of excitement, enrichment and unending discovery.

Our 4200 square feet facility is bright, modern, spacious, comfortable and safe. It is specially designed for the Montessori school environment and contains an enclosed play yard.

Preschool Program:

Our Montessori Preschool program offers individualized learning for children 2½ through 5 years of age in an enriching and fun environment. We offer two morning class sessions and one afternoon class session which run from Monday through Thursday.

Kindergarten Program:

Our Montessori Kindergarten program is designed for children that are between the ages of 4 years and 5 years old. We offer four class sessions which run from Monday through Friday.

The kindergarten class is designed to give the child the maximum opportunity to develop self-confidence and self-esteem. It is based on using the skills the child has gradually built up during the previous two years. These include concentration, self-discipline, curious exploration within the prepared environment of the Montessori classroom, independence, and a basic sensorial preparation for further learning.
