Pied Piper Preschool

Our preschool is a play based non profit preschool providing a fun, safe and inclusive environment for all children and their families. We strive for quality care and follow a curriculum that sets standards for development and learning.

We believe that all children should be valued; all children belong. Our hands-on teaching approach allows children to think and cultivate their own ideas. Our teachers are licensed Early Childhood Educators who continuously develop and update preschool programming based on children’s social, educational and intellectual needs. They strive to create a value driven and nurturing environment.

We are located directly behind Armstrong Elementary School on Armstrong Avenue and Cascade Street, at the Burnaby/New Westminster border. We have no formal catchment area and registration is open to all children and families. The portable classroom has a separate cubby or cloakroom, spacious and bright classroom space with a kitchen and washroom. The classroom has a quiet reading/listening area, play kitchen and “dramatic play” area, two open areas for free play as well an art area and and water tables. All spaces are child friendly, child safe as well as wheelchair accessible. We also have access to Armstrong Elementary playgrounds and field, which provides an opportunity for daily outside play.
