Purpose Society - Rosser Preschool

Rosser Preschool opened in September 2008 in partnership with Burnaby School District. The program operates at Rosser Elementary in North Burnaby.

Our preschool program is designed to develop your child’s self-esteem, foster social interactions and support cognitive and physical growth. The combined play-based and curriculum-based activities in our program will provide children with many kinds of experiences that will help develop learning in all areas, and also prepare them for kindergarten entry. School readiness activities involve circle time, writing, counting, arts and crafts, and songs. Emphasis on play creates opportunities for children to interact with other children through cooperative activities coupled with social skill awareness such as using good manners and taking turns.
