Ranch Park Kids Place Inc.
Ranch Park Kids Place is owned by Susan Lane and managed by Vicky Lane and Jen Gordon. We are located in the portables in the lower parking lot of Ranch Park Elementary School and we service Ranch Park Elementary, Baker Drive Elementary and Hillcrest Middle School.
Our centre offers group daycare, pre-school, and before/after school programs for children ages 2.5 to 12 years. We have provided a caring environment which promotes the physical, social, cognitive and emotional development of children since 1985. Our programs include a balance of play, exploration and creativity which helps children foster atonomy and independence. As a facility, we strive to create a genuine caring relationship between each child and childcare worker.
We are very proud of our staff. Many of our part-time staff are young adults who attended Ranch Park Kids Place when they were kids themselves – now enrolled in ECE and teaching programs, they have returned to Kids Place to provide the same caring atmosphere they experienced when they were young.
All of our staff have had criminal background checks, have 1st Aid certification and have experience working with children. In addition our Group Care and Pre School staff hold valid ECE licenses.

We offer a program for 3 & 4 year olds on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9:15 to 11:45. You are able to choose a 2 or 3 day option. Our classes are taught by ECE qualified teachers.
Our program has been developed to enhance your child’s cognitive, social, physical and emotional development in a caring environment. Our programs include art, dramatic play, circle time, music and dance, story time, outside play and gross motor skills, as well as the “Fun Family Phonics” program.
Options:
-2 days per week: $180 per month
-3 days per week: $230 per month
Our Group Care is for children ages 2.5 to 4 years old and is taught by fully qualified ECE staff, who have many years working with children. In our daily program we encourage creativity, independence, positive self-concept and language. We provide the opportunity to develop gross and fine motor skills. Through group activities, we introduce cooperation and social settings. Our program includes art, dramatic play,circle time, music, storytelling, fine and gross motor skills.
2.5 Year Olds:
-2 days per week: $610 per month
-3 days per week: $875 per month
-5 days per week: $1,235 per month
3-4 Year Olds:
-2 days per week: $530 per month
-3 days per week: $830 per month
-5 days per week: $1,050 per month
Our Before and After School care program is for children ages 5-12 year olds. We currently serve Ranch Park Elementary School, Baker Drive Elementary School and Hillcrest Middle School. On a daily basis we offer a safe fun filled program including such activities as: art, baking, school gym, outside activities, science experiments, clubs, baking and much more.
