Shaughnessy Point Grey Out of School Society (SPG)

Our program takes into account the different interests of children of varying ages. Our Primary Program offers children an opportunity to develop social skills and fine motor skills through carefully-planned, age-specific activities, with a selection of activities for children Grades K through 3 to choose from every afternoon. Our Intermediate program encourages self-direction for those in Grade 4 and up. We also coordinate a series of Special Programs each session.

Now there’s even more cause for celebration because the SPG team always has something amazing planned. Take a look at this year’s plans for upcoming professional days. We have something for every age group (Primary listed first, then Intermediate).

Along with our regular activities, we aim to offer our members an opportunity to try something NEW! This session, we are offering complimentary YOGA sessions on Wednesdays and a SEWING program for intermediates on Tuesdays ($50 for 8 sessions). Knitting is every Thursday through to Spring Break!

This is our chance to get outdoors – weather permitting – to stretch our legs after what feels like a long winter. Every year, we plan a variety of physical and entertaining activities to re-boot along with the season. Please take a look at what we have planned and let us know if you’ll be joining us.

SPG’s Summer Adventure Camp welcomes children to participate in age-appropriate, fun and challenging activities that take us all over the Lower Mainland. It truly is a summer of adventure.
