The Grove Daycare at Forest Grove Elementary

‘The Grove’ Daycare operates out of Forest Grove Elementary School, providing services for pre-school as well as before & after school care for children who attend Forest Grove School.

It is with great excitement that we write this letter to you! We are so happy to have you joining our Forest Grove school community in the fall. We are reaching out to let you know we are thinking of you and planning for your arrival. We will be holding our “Welcome to Forest Grove” event in September. Kindergarten students have a gradual entry start, where students will be attending for short periods at a time for the first 2-3 weeks of September. At this time we do not have a September schedule as we are waiting for more direction from the Ministry of Education. We will be in touch the first week of school! Our learning is play based and built upon the Reggio inspired philosophy. We consider children to be capable, competent, creative and curious. This connects to the First Peoples Principals of Learning that learning is holistic, experiential and relational. We inspire to foster these ideas through the lens of CARE. Care for self, other, environment, materials and ideas are at the core of our practice.
